Work Refreshed. Work Refreshed was the final album from Falling August. Recorded in 1994 by Rob Lehman at Oak Grove Studios, Work Refreshed featured Chieftains sideman Shannon Aaron on mandolin, as well as the band's first recorded cover: David Byrne's Naive Melody.

The cover art for Work Refreshed (at right) pictured a deteriorating advertisement painted on the side of a building in Somerville, Mass. In the ad, a creepy skull-like character was peeking from behind a Coca-Cola bottle. Above the drink was the non sequitur “Fried Clams”; below the bottle were the inexplicable words, “Work Refreshed.”

All songs copyright 1994 Falling August; Naive Melody copyright David Byrne. Produced by Bobby Henline, Charlie Pallone and Falling August. Recorded and engineered by Rob Lehman at Oak Grove Studios, Malden, Mass.
