From Mark Swartz.. I remember schlepping equipment for the band to a prestigious gig ... at a Jewish overnight camp.

The campers were allowed to stay up past their bedtime to rock out to “June Hill Moon” and “Ransom Jennie.”

The mosh pit got ugly, man.

Pillows were swung without regard for eyeglasses or orthodontic headgear.

The encore, “One and a Thousand Nights,” was especially powerful. The audience could not hold lighters in the air, since lighters were not permitted on camp property, so they held flashlights.

One of the younger kids wet his pants, I’m pretty sure.
